CDCFIB Portal - Discussions
Join the conversation and discuss our latest updates and resources.
CDCFIB Portal is an independent guide for Nigerian applicants researching the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board recruitment process. It does not process applications or represent the Board. Use current CDCFIB government notices for every application, shortlist, screening and status action.
CDCFIB and the four services
CDCFIB is connected with recruitment and administration involving the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service and Federal Fire Service. A recruitment notice may apply to one or several services, cadres or categories, so applicants should read the exact notice rather than generalizing from another service.
Finding the current recruitment portal
Recruitment portals can change as an exercise moves from application to screening or scheduling. Start from the official CDCFIB website and follow the link in the newest recruitment notice. Our login guide explains how to avoid stale links.
Application and status
Keep the information generated by the official application system. Later stages may include eligibility review, shortlist, document checks, physical screening, CBT or other assessments. The exact sequence is determined by the current exercise.
Read how to interpret CDCFIB recruitment status before relying on screenshots or rumors.
Shortlist verification
A shortlist claim should be traceable to CDCFIB. Logos and copied PDFs are easy to reproduce. Verify the publication source, date, recruitment exercise and next-stage instructions. Never upload applicant details to an unofficial “shortlist checker.”
Screening preparation
Use the official screening notice to build your document list. Check whether originals, photocopies, printouts or specific identification are requested. Recheck venue and time close to the event. Our screening guide focuses on verification rather than speculative lists.
Portal errors
If a page is unavailable, first check whether that recruitment window is still open. Then confirm the URL, retry from a current browser and review official notices. An ended stage cannot be fixed by clearing a browser cache. See portal troubleshooting.
Scams
Be cautious of guaranteed recruitment slots, private payment accounts, paid shortlist inclusion, requests for OTPs and people claiming they can alter an application from inside the system. Verify claims independently through official CDCFIB channels.
Privacy
This site does not need your NIN, password, OTP, application number or identity documents. Keep sensitive recruitment information within official government systems.
