CDCFIB Screening Guide
Verify screening documents, dates and venue instructions.
Screening is where applications meet reality — documents are checked, physical standards are tested, and identities are verified. Here's how to prepare.
What screening involves
Depending on the service and stage, screening can include document verification (credentials, birth certificate, indigene letter), physical measurements and fitness tests, and medical examinations. Each service publishes its own requirements — read the official notice for your specific round.
Documents to prepare
Gather originals and photocopies of everything the notice lists: academic certificates, means of identification, passport photographs, and any service-specific forms. Organize them before screening day — fumbling through loose papers at the venue wastes your time and looks unserious.
On the day
Arrive early, dress as instructed, bring exactly what's listed (no more, no less), and follow officials' directions. Never pay anyone at or around the venue for "guaranteed" passage — screening outcomes aren't for sale, and bribery attempts can disqualify you permanently.
