CDCFIB Services Explained
NSCDC, Immigration, Corrections and Fire Service in CDCFIB context.
The four services under CDCFIB have different roles — knowing which is which helps you apply to the right one and prepare properly.
The four services
NSCDC (Civil Defence): protection of critical infrastructure, disaster management support, and civil protection.
Correctional Service: management of custodial centres and inmate rehabilitation.
Fire Service: fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations.
Immigration Service: border control, passport issuance, and migration management.
Choosing where to apply
Each service recruits separately with its own requirements for age, height, education, and physical fitness. Read the specific notice for the service you're interested in — applying to all four without meeting each one's criteria wastes your effort. Your qualifications and physical readiness should guide the choice, not rumors about which is "easier" to enter.
